Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park 2

Once could have been enough but life certainly surprised me in 2014 when I was able to return to hands down my favorite dive destination in the country, Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park.

I received a text from Dino Pangione, co-owner of M/Y Sakura Charter---a simple invitation back to Tubbataha for their last trip of the season. I initially begged off because it wasn't part of our yearly budget and schedule. He then dropped the shock of my life saying he's inviting me for free! Ling came with me again but this time, as a diver and with discounted rates. This act of kindness, according to Dino and his wife, Let, is something they regularly do for fellow divers. They invite peeps back whenever they have a few slots left, usually during the season's last trip. I certainly couldn't thank the heavens for such a blessing!

What we saw during our dives was certainly the trip's highlight! Everything I wished to see during my first trip to Tubbataha in 2013 showed themselves in full glory the year after.
