Tanay, Rizal: Pili Paninap Farm

As we are always on the lookout for petting zoos or farm stays where we can bring our daughter, we aptly scheduled our trip to Pili Paninap Farm on Xandy’s 11th birthday during the last weekend of May 2022. It is a family-owned farm situated along the Sampaloc River in Tanay, Rizal. We booked the Inop room for the cost of P4,500, good for 6 pax and with own toilet and hot shower. It is quite spacious with an overlooking view of the farm’s compound and mountain range by the room’s veranda. They allow early arrival for guests and we also brought our own food with cooking equipment only for an additional cost of P75/pax.
To make our daughter’s birthday celebration more special, we invited Xandy’s cousin, Dabs, and her grandparents, too. Upon arrival in Pili Paninap, the kiddos were all oohs and aahs as we drove by the stingless bees, the ducks and the deer lodge. And as we alighted, they started running up the Narra tree trail and took in the petting area with all the farm animals. Seeing our daughter’s curious eyes and satisfied smile while running around the farm’s compound no doubt made her birthday adventure extraordinary. The kiddos took their time trying all the swings, playing in the tree house, went biking, horseback riding and excitedly fed the ducks and deer.
Xandy said that the best part of her birthday trip was swimming in the Sampaloc River. For two days, the celebrant and her cousin lounged and played by the stream up to their heart’s content. They likewise enjoyed the bonfire with their hotdog and marshmallow on sticks. The chocolate cake especially baked by Ling for our daughter’s special day was literally the icing on her birthday adventure. Enjoy viewing!

Certified as a PADI rescue diver. Got my first compact camera in 2011. I was simply content then to just capture a glimpse of what I see during my dives. It was only last February 2014 that I fully maximized the use of manual macro settings.
