There really is no better place to make Christmas merriest for our only daughter than bringing her to the beach. That’s just what we did last December 2016 as I booked a three-day vacay in Kamana Sanctuary Resort and Spa in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
Their standard twin room costs P7,000/night, breakfast included for 2 pax but the room is good for 3 to 4 persons. Our spacious room has a balcony with an overlooking view of the resort facilities and of course, the beach. Quite pricey but the view totally made up for it. We also enjoyed their infinity pool, which was just the perfect backdrop for countless photo ops.
Don’t miss trying the resort’s water activities. Our family of three enjoyed kayaking around the scenic view in the morning. The resort also has a sandy playground for kids. Watch out for wild monkeys too! Seeing them in their habitat is sure one for the books.
We also allotted a day visiting the Zoobic Safari. It is just around 10-15 minutes away from the resort. Day tour entrance is pegged at P695 for adults and P595 for kids 4 feet and below. Kids 3 feet below are free. My daughter and her cousins loved interacting with the birds and seeing the tigers while on board the tram.
This has been indeed one holiday to remember!

Certified as a PADI rescue diver. Got my first compact camera in 2011. I was simply content then to just capture a glimpse of what I see during my dives. It was only last February 2014 that I fully maximized the use of manual macro settings.
