Anilao, Batangas: 2017 Post-Birthday Dive

Couldn’t be more thankful to have spent 4 dives after my birthday last October 27th in Anilao, Batangas in 2017. I may have scheduled it two days late but there really was no better gift I can give myself other than a memorable time underwater. And I sure had a blast clicking away. ;P

It was like unwrapping presents one after the other as Ling and our dive master, Jess Tabangay, spotted unique critters in every dive. Fell in love with the batwing slug and the spiky black nudibranch. Also saw a reef fish with eggs in the El Pinoy dive site. Uncommon nudibranchs abound.

We were trying to find the Alleni nudibranch in the Apols dive site but the search was unfruitful. It was almost a perfect post-birthday celebration. But we’ll sure be back for our Alleni hunt. =)
