Our sixth grader’s first quarter of hybrid class for S.Y. 2022-2023 is over and we’re onto the quarter’s scheduled Parent-Teacher Conference by mid-November 2022. We always take this time to schedule a family trip afterwards so as to congratulate our kiddo for yet another job well done. After receiving Xandy’s academic good news, we drove to Tanay, Rizal’s Moolk Farm. It is a two-hour drive from Quezon City and prior reservation is made via this link.
We booked a day trip with an entrance fee of P350.00 per pax. It is inclusive of a free Moolk Drink and a tractor ride (if available). Rate for kids aged 2 to 7yo is P150.00 while those 1yo and below are free. We rented a swing table for the cost of P1,500.00. There are also other table options that range from P750.00 to P2,500.00, depending on the number of persons in the group. Guests can also opt to stay overnight by camping and bringing your own tent. Rates range from P500.00 to P1,500.00. They also have a Tiny House Villa for rent for P7,500.00, good for 4 pax.
Schedule your trip on a weekday if you want to have the place all to yourselves just as we did. Our daughter relished her Moolk Drink while swingin’ on our allotted swing table. She enjoyed running around the greenery and appreciated the Laguna Lake and Pililla Wind Farm views. There are 70 cows in the area, 30 of which are from New Zealand. We took our time feeding and nursing the adult and baby cows for the rate of P150.00. Some of the baby cows are only a week old!
Nothing compares to seeing our daughter’s eyes light up as she interacted with the cows. And yes, seeing her try the all-terrain vehicle for the first time! It’s amusing to see her maneuver the ATV alone and conquer yet another experience on her own. A 30-minute ATV rental is pegged at P1,000. They also offer bike rental and horseback riding. Guests can also bring their own food during the visit, with no additional corkage fee.
It was no doubt a fun-filled day for our family of three! Enjoy viewing!
