As the school year concluded for our fifth grader, we planned a visit to Preziosa Botanic Resort in Alfonso, Cavite mid-June 2022. The shift from face to face to online classes and our work-from-home setup no doubt made our family all the more appreciate our time spent in nature.
Day tour rate at Preziosa is P1,500 per pax, P750 for kids aged 1-4 and with discounted rates for senior citizens and PWDs. It is inclusive of site parking, a set lunch and a farm tour afterwards. Guests can also use the lounge area, recreational facilities and walk around the botanic gardens. I also invited my close friend, Yna, and her family so it was a get-together of sorts. My daughter was reunited with her ninang and her unico hijo, Elias patatas.
Our fam instantly fell in love with Preziosa’s hidden gem in the heart of Alfonso, Cavite. We were warmly welcomed by the staff. The lush green surrounding was simply breathtaking as we had it all to ourselves. We took our time enjoying the day’s farm to table lunch of potato soup, green salad with holy basil dressing, chicken barbecue and panna cotta. We then walked around the garden where the kiddos took their turns sliding and swingin’ in the playground. Ate Xandy assisting and playing with Elias patatas was such a pleasant sight.
We were brought around the resort via tram and we visited the farm rich in ornamental plants, trees and vegetable crops. The highlights of the tour were feeding the sheep, pedal go karting with the squad and pole fishing in the pond. And yes, seeing the sunflowers in full bloom! There were simply so much to see and do for the kiddos and the young-at-heart parents.

Certified as a PADI rescue diver. Got my first compact camera in 2011. I was simply content then to just capture a glimpse of what I see during my dives. It was only last February 2014 that I fully maximized the use of manual macro settings.
