Mactan, Cebu: Sardine Run

There was really no plan to go wide on our Mactan, Cebu dive trip during the first weekend of March 2018. But when we saw underwater photos of Yoshi Hirata, general manager of Paraiso Com Dream, I instantly changed my mind. First off, I didn’t know you could see a school of sardines just near their dive shop’s house reef. And though we’ve been to Moalboal way back 2015, it wouldn’t hurt to see Mactan’s very own sardine run.

We asked our dive master, Romeo, that we wanted to go wide during our 6th dive. It was indeed the perfect finale for our 2 diving days! The view was just as spectacular as I’ve imagined. Happy viewing!
